Kids Ministry

Elementary Children

Children learn about the love of God as they enjoy age-appropriate worship, exciting music, engaging videos, and fun activities. Our Children's Church is for children from kindergarten through 5th grade.

We are committed to being an excellent place for kids to discover the love of Jesus.

Our leadership team works hard to communicate the Bible's truths at your child's age-appropriate level. While parents, grandparents, and guardians worship in the primary worship environment, children will enjoy their own worship event in Kids Church in a designated secure area.

We utilize an amazing curriculum written by the most talented and trusted children's leaders nationwide. Using engaging methods, children will explore the entire Bible in three years.  

Our teachers strive to make each Sunday a special event. Each lesson will explore and reinforce a timeless truth from the Bible.

Preschoolers

We provide excellent preschool childcare during all worship events by trained and loving workers. Your child will be safe and secure. Our preschool is for children from birth through pre-K.

We know that little ones learn as they go. Preschoolers at Church at SouthWood will learn of Jesus' love as they hear Bible stories and enjoy age-appropriate activities.

One of our favorite ministries is that offered by some of our loving grandmothers and great-grandmothers who rock our smallest learners and whisper that Jesus loves the little children.
