LEAD PASTOR
Pastor Don is married to Kathy, and they have two adult children, Haley and Heather (Nic), and two grandchildren, Mac and Mabel.
Returning to become the pastor of Parkway Baptist Church in 1998, little did he know the journey that would bring him to lead Church At SouthWood.
He is active in denominational work. He served as president of the State Board of Missions of the Florida Baptist Convention. He has served as president of the local association's board of directors. He also served on the Credentials Committee of the Southern Baptist Convention. He currently is on the Board of Trustees for the Baptist University of Florida.
Executive Director
Jason Kang provides leadership and direction to the administrative workings of the church. He guides us in creating, developing, coordinating, and evaluating our organizational structures, including planning, finance, and operations. He is also our worship leader.
Jason graduated from The Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina. He left a career in human resources to build his own successful business.
Jason is married to Shannon, and they enjoy the company of a handsome Shih Tzu-type rescue named Griffin.
Will is a lifetime resident of Florida and has attended and served several churches in the Tallahassee area. He is married to Emily, and they have three cats: "G," Riley, and Peaches. Will is a student at Baptist University of Florida and plans to pursue a seminary degree upon graduation. His goal is to serve as a pastor. Will serves as our pastoral trainee.
Darcie Ogando is a graduate student studying Music Composition and Theory at Florida State University’s College of Music. She was active in her church in Santa Domingo. She serves as our worship production coordinator. She will use her skills and experience to assist us with our musical worship and other administrative work.
